About Newsline

Newsline is DePaul's newsletter for faculty and staff. It is the official information channel for executives and administrators to share top-level updates with the university community. Begun as a two-page printed newsletter in 1969, Newsline launched an online component known as Newsline Online in 2002 and a full-fledged Web site in 2009. Newsline is published 19 times a year in print and online. It is designed to build a strong sense of community by promoting DePaul’s accomplishments, values and mission. Its content becomes part of the university’s historical record. Newsline won first place for the best newsletter of 17 pages or fewer in the 2009 Bronze Anvil Award competition sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America, the nation’s largest public relations organization.
