DePaul enters new era with launch of iDePaul mobile app

iDePaul is the brand new university-wide smartphone app, centralizing information that is important to students, faculty and staff.
iDePaul is free and available for the iPhone, Blackberry and Android and will be updated regularly.
“iDePaul provides critical information in a timely manner,” says Cara Kaufmann-Rosenthal, director of development for Information Services. Kaufmann-Rosenthal leads the iDePaul team, which has been developing the app over the last year.
Students can log into iDePaul with their campus connect ID and password to access their class schedule or find a professor’s contact information. iDePaul can also notify students when tuition is due and of their enrollment dates for classes. In addition, the app provides one-stop access to campus maps, university news and a calendar of upcoming campus events.
“We want this to be the one DePaul app,” says Bob McCormick, vice president for Information Services. “This is a holistic view of DePaul. This is the perfect way to connect to campus both academically and socially.”
