The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers DePaul employees and their families free access to short-term resources to help them cope with life’s rough patches or to assist with daily life.

This includes individual and family counseling, financial counseling, psychological evaluations and referrals, substance abuse treatment and similar services.

The services are designed to be confidential and convenient, with access to various types of counseling available in-person or by telephone. Perspectives’ counselors are experienced clinicians and can be reached by calling 800-456-6327.

EAP services encompass more than personal problems. Other useful services are the Legal/Financial Connection, which assists with legal issues, or the Family Resource Link, a searchable database of information and resources related to childcare and eldercare needs. Perspectives, DePaul’s independent EAP provider, also produces webinars and has interactive tools online on topics related to health and wellness, parents, personal development, adoption, relocation and much more.
